Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer and a reason to let loose, especially on the water! This year marks the return of many of our annual events, including the Sarasota Sailing Squadron's 73rd Annual Regatta and other occasions to celebrate our coastal culture and the incredible amenity of living by Sarasota Bay.
September 3 - 5: The Sarasota Sailing Squadron Labor Day Regatta welcomes hundreds of competitive sailors for three days of sailing from City Island. Spectators can enjoy watching the regatta for free from Ken Thomson Park and the Ringling Bridge.
September 4: Rec Day at Nathan Benderson Park is a family-friendly invitation to kayak, paddleboard, canoe, fish, and more. $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
September 5: AquaPalooza at the New Pass Sandbar near MarineMax and Ken Thomson Park is a water party for boaters that features music, free give-aways, and more.
September 6: Free admission to The Ringling Museum
