THESE AGENTS SOLD $10 MILLION OR MORE IN RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE IN 2020.

Who’s Who in Residential Real Estate is a listing of agents who sold $10 million or more in residential real estate in Tampa Bay in 2020.
 
The inaugural listing shines a spotlight on 167 local agents and teams whose sales were above that threshold.
 
While the Tampa Bay Business Journal publishes a list every year that shows the firms with the highest local sales in residential real estate, this section was created to highlight the individual agents and teams that brought in the highest dollar volume in residential sales in the previous year.
 
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the residential real estate market remained strong in Tampa Bay in 2020. The three metropolitan areas in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s coverage area saw a combined 81,221 closed sales in single-family homes in 2020, a 4.4% increase over 2019, according to data from Florida Realtors. This is despite decreases in the second quarter of 16% in Lakeland-Winter Haven, 21.5% in North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton, and 16.6% in Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater.
 
Like most businesses, residential real estate firms had to make major adjustments to their normal practices, such as eliminating many on-site showings and moving much of their operations to virtual settings. These agents not only managed to continue their success but flourish despite the challenges that 2020 presented.
