What an incredible year 2022 has been...
The first half of this year extended the fast pace and high price trends that set expectations over the past two years. By the middle of the year, we began to see a shift in our market towards a 'new normal.' There's been no downturn in Sarasota - our community's popularity has continued to soar and gain even greater momentum as new residents support the demand for ultra-luxury homes and developers are eager to add to the premium inventory in our gorgeous setting. The energy is palpable and on the rise.
This year, our team grew with the addition of our highly esteemed peer, Amy Drake. Regarded as Sarasota's leading new construction expert, Amy is an invaluable asset to the LRM Group and our clients, particularly as we launch exclusive representation of the Ronto Group's newest luxury project, The Owen.
Despite the changes in the market, we've enjoyed another record-setting year. From launching into 2022 with the highest price for a home purchase ever in Manatee County with our buyers' acquisition on Anna Maria Island to setting a record price per square on Lido Shores with the sale of an exquisite Mid-Century Modern home on Center Place. Our founder, Lisa Rooks Morris, finishes this year with one of the highest sales volumes in our market, ranking 23rd in individual production and with an average transaction value above $4 million. Our team was recognized by REAL Trends as one of the Top 125 teams in the entire state of Florida. These honors are due to the exceptional clients we represent and their trust in our expertise to represent Sarasota's most distinguished properties. We're looking forward to even greater heights in 2023.
