A native of Northern Virginia, Lisa has deep familial ties to the real estate industry. After her father founded and eventually sold what became the fourth largest privately owned real estate brokerage in the United States, Lisa’s family invested heavily in the Sarasota area beginning in the early 1960s. She has been actively involved with real estate investment, development, and brokerage throughout her life and career. Lisa’s professional accolades include membership in The Pinnacle Group, the Exceptional Agent Network, and recognition by REALTrends as one of the top small-team producers in the United States. She has served on various community boards and is a member of the University of North Carolina Alumni Association and Architecture Sarasota.
Lisa holds dual bachelor degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a masters degree in Social Work from Loyola University. From 2003 to 2013 Amy served as Director of Marketing and Managing Director of the New Homes & Condominiums Division with one of Sarasota’s leading residential real estate teams. As managing director, she oversaw a team of 90 Realtors and support staff who closed $1.5+ billion in new construction sales annually.
In 2013, Amy founded the Property Perspectives Group (PPG), a boutique brokerage with an expertise in the sales and marketing of exclusive new construction developments. Since PPG’s inception, Amy has closed over $270 million in sales at Sarasota’s top luxury towers, including Aria Longboat Key, Echelon on Palm (624 Palm), 7 One One Palm, and EPOCH Sarasota. Her PPG production earned her the top position for average sale price in 2016, 2018, and 2021, and ranked her between 3rd and 7th position in sales volume in the Sarasota/Manatee MLS Region. In 2021, Amy’s closed volume was $155,800,000 at an average sale price of $5,195,000.

Amy has been a long-term advocate for her alma mater, the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg (B.A. Business Administration), serving on the Community Leadership Council and in an advisory role for the launch of USF Sarasota/Manatee’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. In 2021, Amy and Michael established the Amy & Michael Drake Endowed Scholarship at USF Tampa’s Patel College of Global Sustainability, ensuring students who work to protect our fragile environment have the necessary funds to continue their educations.
