MEET LISA ROOKS MORRIS

Originally from Alexandra, Virginia, Lisa Rooks Morris brings 20 years of real estate experience to Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. She grew up in the Washington, D.C. area in a real estate family where her father founded and grew what came to be the fourth largest privately owned real estate brokerage in the country. Lisa’s family has been involved with and invested in the Sarasota community since the early 1960s and has been involved with real estate investment, development and brokerage.


A consistent market leader, Lisa exceeded $86 million in closed volume for 2020. She ranked sixth in sales volume for Sarasota and Manatee Counties and led the LRM Group to a collective placement at the top of the region’s market share with more than $125 million in closed and pending sales for the year. Extending her legacy of success in selling out the downtown condominium developments 1350 Main and VUE Sarasota Bay in record time, Lisa stewarded the sell-out of Longboat Key’s boutique luxury development, Sage LBK.

She is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the local real estate market and is an expert negotiator who provides outstanding quality service to her property sellers and buyers. She is a member of the Florida Association of REALTORS®, REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee and National Association of REALTORS®.


 
Outside of real estate, Lisa enjoys yoga, reading, cooking, art, interior design, caring for her two college age children and dog. She has served on various community boards, is a member of University of North Carolina Alumni Association, Sarasota Architectural Foundation, Mothers and Infants volunteer and the Echelon Club. Lisa attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a Bachelor of Arts and Loyola University Chicago, in Chicago, Illinois and received a master’s degree in social work.


 









MEET JULIE GUIRGUIS

With a commercial banking and management background, Julie Guirguis offers clients valuable financial insight alongside her detailed knowledge of Sarasota’s neighborhoods. She is driven to provide the highest level of strategic guidance and personal engagement to help clients achieve their best outcomes in selling and searching for a home.


Julie’s passion for real estate and helping families comes from a family-first philosophy that also inspired her to develop a play-based learning program for infants and toddlers and their caregivers. Co-founded in 2017 when her own daughter was learning to walk, The Brats Club has expanded continuously since its launch, serving more than 600 families with children aged 1 month to 5 years. Still leading The Brats Club as a founding Director, Julie manages the business operations and accounting, also liaising with parents and students to ensure the best enrollment experience.


Prior to joining the real estate profession, Julie was the Credit Manager of Commercial Lending for a local bank and also established a successful regional vending franchise. She served as the Treasurer of the Avondale Residents Association for five years and remains an active participant in neighborhood initiatives. Combining entrepreneurial experience and community leadership with her public relations and financial background, Julie offers unique strategic strength to the LRM Group.


Born and raised in Ohio, Julie earned her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Ohio University. She has lived in Sarasota since 2004 and currently resides West of Trail with her young daughter and sweet dog. In addition to weekly Saturday treks to the Farmer’s Market and downtown shops, Julie’s down time includes exercise, ballet, reading, and interior design.









MEET Amy Drake

A resident of Florida for nearly 5 decades, Amy Drake is distinguished for her careers in both housing and tourism. Her fascination with these two industries led to back-to-back tenure in hospitality and real estate at two of the Gulf Coast's most renowned companies. For 18 years, she served as Director/Vice President of Sales & Marketing, then as Vice President of Operations at Longboat Key Club & Resort, leading a team of 500 dedicated employees and managing the day-to-day operation of the 2,100-member country club and the 221-suite
Four Star/ Four Diamond Beachfront Resort.


From 2003 to 2013 Amy served as Director of Marketing and Managing Director of the New Homes & Condominiums Division with one of Sarasota’s leading residential real estate teams. As managing director, she oversaw a team of 90 Realtors and support staff who closed $1.5+ billion in new construction sales annually.


In 2013, Amy founded the Property Perspectives Group (PPG), a boutique brokerage with an expertise in the sales and marketing of exclusive new construction developments. Since PPG’s inception, Amy has closed over $270 million in sales at Sarasota’s top luxury towers, including Aria Longboat Key, Echelon on Palm (624 Palm), 7 One One Palm, and EPOCH Sarasota. Her PPG production earned her the top position for average sale price in 2016, 2018, and 2021, and ranked her between 3rd and 7th position in sales volume in the Sarasota/Manatee MLS Region.
In 2021, Amy’s closed volume was $155,800,000 at an average sale price of $5,195,000.


Developers of residential properties turn to Amy as the "go-to" specialist for sales, marketing, brand management, lead generation, media relations and more. Her colleagues and customers characterize her as a proficient communicator with a reputation for cultivating strong relationships and a desire to create positive outcomes for all stakeholders. Amy’s diversified background, market expertise, data-driven insights, entrepreneurial zeal, tightly
held values and focus on excellence have served her clients well.


Amy and her husband Michael have lived on Longboat Key for 37 years and are dedicated supporters of local nonprofits and community organizations. Amy has been a long-term advocate for her alma mater, the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg (B.A. Business Administration), serving on the Community Leadership Council and in an advisory role for the launch of USF Sarasota/Manatee’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. In 2021, Amy and Michael established the Amy & Michael Drake Endowed Scholarship at USF Tampa’s Patel College of Global Sustainability, ensuring students who work to protect our fragile environment have the necessary funds to continue their educations. As a Founding Member of Impact100 SRQ, Amy serves on the FAC Training Committee and as the Longboat Key New Member Ambassador.
