We were thrilled to see Sarasota featured in the New York Times recently as a top travel destination. In '36 Hours in Sarasota,' the Times details the draw of our city and coastal lifestyle with a suggested travel itinerary that would appeal to visitors touching down for a day and a half.
The Times' recommendations include wandering around Selby Gardens, exploring Newtown, visiting the world-famous beach on Siesta Key and walking across the Ringling Bridge. There are plenty of dining recommendations too, from rooftop hotspots in the heart of Downtown to the simple pleasures of the farmers market and plenty of suggestions for fresh seafood.
It's wonderful to see such high level acknowledgement of Sarasota along with details on the ease of travel and options for enjoying any amount of time in our beautiful city. Click here to read the full article.
