Architecture Sarasota's annual MOD Weekend celebrates the distinctive style of the Sarasota School of Architecture and the unique appeal of our building style. This year's series of events begins on November 14th and runs through November 17th, with exclusive tours, expert panels, and community engagement at notable sites.
The Chapell House in the Lido Shores community is a spectacular example of postmodern design. When we listed the Morningside Drive property, it welcomed global real estate and design press. Completed in 2000, this home and its grounds stand out for unique curvilinear architecture and brightly hued colors, as well as grand scale and thoughtful orientation to embrace the tropical landscape.
